JS Bach’s 341st birthday was celebrated by the Choir on March 31st 2026. Guests were treated to an introduction to the art and the story of St Matthew Passion, with an illustrated talk by Choir member and Art Historian John Gregory.
The event was also an occasion to celebrate and acknowledge those who had supported the Choir since its inception in 2006. Presentations were made to several long term supporters of the Choir, in particular Conductor Rick Prakhoff, seen admiring the facsimile edition of the St Matthew Passion presented to him at this event.
