Melbourne Bach Choir and Zelman Memorial Symphony Orchestra are proud to bring you the Verdi Requiem with a cast of four superb Australian soloists under the baton of Rick Prakhoff.
Soprano Helena Dix recently made her New York Metropolitan Opera debut. Last November, she sang the Verdi Requiem with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. Jacqueline Dark is a multiple Helpmann and Green Room Award-winning mezzo-soprano. Paul O’Neill has sung major roles with Opera Australia and internationally, and was recently tenor soloist in Verdi’s Requiem at the Konzerthaus Berlin. In addition to his international and OA reputation, bass baritone, Adrian Tamburini is well-known to Zelman Symphony audiences, having sung in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 13, Babi Yar.
