No 5, p26 ‘Not upon the Feast’ – short, very bright and strong double chorus which really gives a taste of the exciting choruses to come. We worked this a little last year.
No 15, p42 At the end of the recit between Jesus and the Evangelist, Choir 1 sings this amazing brief response from the disciples – needs to be confident, so look at where you are getting your starting notes.
No 67, p192 Extremely dramatic double chorus finishing with ‘I am the son of God’. One of the most breathlessly dramatic choruses in SMP – needs everyone to know it very well.
No 1 Finish off today’s good work on this chorus – never underestimate this chorus for Choir 2. Sing this through as often as possible, and learn the Choir 1 lead-ins.

No 36, p 114 Revise the work from last week and polish this beautiful mezzo aria with chorus.
